A place you can call home in your retirement
Inspirit Residences offers you an exceptional opportunity to experience retirement living. Your independent lifestyle located in London is accommodated by full-sized apartments and a full range of services that are available to you – as needed. Inspirit is designed to assist you in maintaining a life that is in balance: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.
Inspirit Residences was established in 1999, by senior housing entrepreneurs, Ross and Cathy Chapin. Inspirit came about through a desire to create a community where seniors could live independently through providing the care and support to foster that independence in retirement. To live a healthy and balanced lifestyle in their later years and especially to honour married couples who, so often, may otherwise need to live apart from each other. In 2018, the community was acquired by Oxford Living, a Canadian leader in senior living, with a commitment to maintaining Inspirit’s unique culture and carrying forward Ross and Cathy’s vision.
We offer our residents the space they need to live a fulfilling life. Our apartments convey the feeling of home through full-size floor plans, in-home amenities (laundry machines and a dishwasher), and lots of natural light through the use of the private balcony and large windows. We provide the amount of care that is needed to encourage and support independence.
You can expect high-quality services and a personal connection with each of the staff. Our Chef creates dishes with fresh, seasonal, local ingredients. Our Coordinator of Care, a registered nurse, creates a plan based on each Resident’s needs. Every aspect of keeping our residents healthy is overseen.
The amount of assistance each Resident receives is based on their personal preference and level of need. Many of our services are optional and all are meant to enhance the living experience and to empower residents to be active and independent. Inspirit is a loving and supportive place for anyone whose life would be enhanced by having a group of caring people around to help make things easier and remove barriers that come with aging.
We invite you to come for a tour and let’s talk about how we can meet your needs or the needs of a loved one in retirement.
